For keratin to form normally, a number of nutrients are essential, including certain vitamins, such as those from the B complex, mineral salts, and sulfur amino acids (L-cysteine, L-methionine), which promote keratinization and, therefore, the formation of hair and nails. The gelatin in this formulation also stimulates keratin production.
